New ADdition plans

An additional 60,000 square feet valued at $7.5 million is in the works for our facility. The North Platte Visitor’s Bureau voted on a payment of $600,000 grant for retractable flooring in the new addition. We are also patiently waiting for a decision regarding Legislative Bill LB566 for shovel ready assistance geared towards youth sports facilities at a value up to $5 million.

The new addition will have new functionality including retractable flooring, retractable bleachers, new locker rooms where the two parts of the facility conjoin for either side to use, upgraded sports amenities including new retractable basketball hoops, plus modern score boards. This just names a few of the new features that will be a part of the new addition.

This new add on is more important to our community than ever since other facilities have shut their doors. Currently our building brings in over 300,000 people annually from all over central US. We are at max capacity every weekend and unfortunately having to deny reservations due to space and popularity. This new addition will let us double, or even triple our events that can be held at one time. Thus, driving up community sales in other areas such as motels, fuel, shopping, and tourism.

We are extremely grateful for the city and state funding options, however, these funds will not cover the entirety of this project. We need support from local businesses and community members to raise the additional $2 million to make this the best project it can be!

We have multiple tax deductible donation options for any size business or individual. All size donations are graciously accepted and valued at our non-profit and will be put to great use. Each level of donation will be recognized in the new facility as being a valued contributor to the project.

$500 - $1,000 Individual/Family Donation

$2,000 - Small Business Wall Advertisement

$5,000 - Medium Business Wall Advertisement

$10,000 - Large Business Wall Advertisement

$50,000+ - Permanent Advertisement (ie. scoreboards, basketball hoops, etc.)
