4-8 pm.
We will offer a pulled pork sandwich meal to be served starting at 4pm until it's gone. A free will donation is requested to benefit the Castillo family. Also, there will be some fantastic silent auction items available from 4-6 pm, with a live auction beginning at 6, and a bake sale!

Let's encourage one of North Platte's finest men and his children with our love and generousity!
Jon is a devoted single father to a 15 year old daughter and 18 year old son, loving brother and uncle, faithful humanitarian, and in short, everyone's “best friend”. He is a native to North Platte, Nebraska, and career man with the Union Pacific Rail Road. Jon has dedicated endless hours volunteering as a softball coach, giving to his community, and donating his time, efforts, and resources to countless others in their times of great need.
Now, Jon and his two children could use OUR help and support!
In February of 2017, Jon Castillo was diagnosed, after years as a diabetic, with end stage renal failure. He has since defied the odds against mortality, but not without tremendous trial and hardship. After more than a year on the kidney transplant list, in May of 2018, Jon endured a failed kidney transplant. This was due to heart complications that were not discovered until the surgery that was meant to improve his quality of life. Along with too many other complications to list, Jon has also suffered thru multiple surgeries for a partial foot amputation, along with the horrific pain of a broken pelvis this past August. The broken pelvis landed him in a full time care facility for a while. And, although Jon is grateful to be back at home, he is currently being treated with a wound vac. And 30 days of hyperbaric chamber treatments.
As you can imagine, Jon and his children could really use some well deserved financial relief and moral support! We hope to see you there!
